Whether you're only here for a short time, or whether you feel called to make Saint Laurence your new spiritual home, you are more than welcome!
SERVICE ZERO 2PM
We gather at 2 pm for Service ZERO on the second, third, fourth and fifth Sundays of each month for worship, teaching and ministry.
Here’s a taste of what Sundays are like at Saint Laurence: the doors open at 1.30pm, giving you plenty of time to wander in, say hello, and find a seat. We get started at 2pm (or soon after) with sung worship and space to hear from God’s Word. There’s time to reflect, respond, and pray together, all in an informal style. Afterwards, we stick around for refreshments and the chance to make, renew, and deepen relationships—because at its heart, the church is a community. Our gatherings usually last about an hour and a half, so there’s plenty of time to connect without feeling rushed.
Why 2pm? Well, at the heart of our church is young people (see our vision) and we’ve learnt that they aren’t so keen on mornings, so we meet in the afternoon.
REMIX 12PM
On the first Sunday of each month, we have a special service called REMIX.
REMIX is at the alternative time of 12 pm as we eat and explore faith together. REMIX is for all ages, and this space replaces our other services.
We send out eNews with updates regarding services and events most weeks. Extra services and activities are held over the Easter and Christmas periods.
CHILDREN
At Service ZERO we have children's groups for those in primary school three weeks out of four.
FESTIVALS, HOLIDAYS + CHANGES TO SERVICE TIMES
During festivals (Easter and Christmas) and the Summer, our service times may change, we give details for these changes on our website as well as eNews, Facebook and Instagram.
On occasion, we broadcast our services and particular events via our Youtube page.
